SHIP Pomona College requires all international students (those on F1 visas or the equivalent) to enroll in the Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP), which provides each student comprehensive health insurance coverage through the Aetna Inc. insurance company.

MCAPs provides short-term therapy, which focuses on helping a person manage short-term psychological stressors. Students who would benefit from long-term treatment are referred to pre-screened, qualified clinicians in the Claremont community.
Health Education Outreach (HEO) The HEO (also located in the Tranquada building) provides free in-office resources and services such as free HIV testing, alcohol and drug education, condoms and other safe-sex barriers . The HEO also has a free massage chair! For a full list of services, click here.
